Our Library
Sarvottama Granthalayam
A public library initiative by Andhra Pradesh Library Association
Since its inception, the APLA has been functioning with the sole aim of taking the library movement to the public. With changing times and circumstances, Late Sri Paturi Nagabhushanam felt the need to establish a library for the benefit of the public in and around a central place in the city. Inspired by this idea, he founded "Sarvottama Granthalayam", named after Late Sri Gadicherla Hari Sarvottama Rao, on the auspicious day of Ugadi, 30th May 1987.
