To commemorate the centenary celebration of the Library Association, it was decided to start a digital library, named after Iyyanki Venkata Ramanayya — one of the Triumvirates of the Library movement.

Since many people expressed a desire to have a reading room, the digital library was converted into an air conditioned reading room. Doctors, engineers and others preparing for competitive examinations or entrance tests, find it a great blessing to imbibe knowledge in such a cool and conducive ambience.
